I can think of, is 'Robinson Crusoe on Mars' - how pathetic is THAT??

    Of course, the original 'Total Recall' DID have it's moments.... ( . Y . Y . )

    •  Mission to Mars (2000) with Don Cheadle, (0+ / 0-)

Tim Robbins, and Gary Sinise was pretty darn good. I never saw "Red Planet" (also released in 2000, starring Val Kilmer), but the critical reviews were poor.

Robinson Crusoe on Mars (1964) was a great flm for its day, but must now be regarded as "Classic SciFi", like everything that came before Kubrick's "2001".

Interestingly, all three films are about manned missions gone awry... I guess that's what it takes to sell tickets at the theater, but it sure doesn't help build public support for a manned mission today.

      Have you noticed?
