jplanner.  Her DLC mindset is not what we need next. On top of the lack of vision and age, which I know a lot of folks get upset about.

I've worked with the elderly since '75, first in nursing practicals and since in critical, home care and PACE - which is specifically for the elderly. People age differently for many reasons. One of the most common is stress. She's been in a pressure cooker for 20 years, only 8 in the slightly less pressured Senate.

She will be very close to Reagan's age span. I'm not willing to have someone that old in the WH again. It is far too much stress. Younger generations are the ones with a world view that is closer to what is and what will be than she does.

I am far more concerned with the emotional attachment to Hillary than what a lot of people thought Obama attracts. He is a powerful speaker. The degree to which people were anticipating a lot of action was totally unrealistic to me. I have concerns about some things, there is a lot to learn in 4 years and more than the usual for him.

First, I thought it was rude to tell someone who has worked as hard as she has and said was not interested, that 3 years is enough rest. Then they want her to start campaigning for that job, and do really well for 8 years.

We need someone with good speaking, messaging and the will to get as much done as possible. It will depend on the '14 congressional vote and the '16th. Too many things can't be postponed much longer. Financial collapse could be '15, or earlier.

I've read a lot of political tomes in the past decade. Read her book almost at the beginning. I had really liked her going into HCR, then she blew it. Some of that I got through nursing channels. Then with a sense of discomfort, I went on to other subjects, authors.

Every so often something she had been involved in was relayed. Most of it was financial (including how ridiculous the Whitewater investigations were) and I don't remember those details. I think mostly in conjunction with Bill's big booboos. The one I do remember is still uncomfortable. Are you familiar with The Family? It wasn't just the specific influence, it was that she was involved at all, however superficially.
