I kept TPM's PollTracker app on my iPhone solely to keep tabs on the polls regarding marriage equality.

There were two other poll results released today.

FAUX Snooze...oh, sorry, FOX News, reports a 46-46 split on the issue, while Quinnipiac has a more moderate 47-43 in favor.

But the tide is turning -- seems like the main factors in opposing marriage equality is age and political leanings (my 81 year old Democrat mother-in-law has been firmly in support of gay rights and marriage equality for years, since her goddaughter came out at the very least).

Whether that's enough to sway SCOTUS is debatable; but unlike some who think the case could set gay rights back decades, I'm cautiously optimistic.
