on both sides of President Obama's mouth called?  They're an pronounced and unusual physical feature, even though I don't recall ever hearing anyone discuss them.  Next to his ears, they're probably his most distinctive facial characteristic, even more so than the mole.  And I quite seriously don't know what they're called -- they're not jowls, though if he were heavier they might well demarcate the jowls from the center if the face.

Anyway: Obama's got them, this actor's got them, and not a whole lot of other people have got them.  No, the actor is not a doppelgänger or other spitting image if Obama, but that is not something that would likely have happened by accident in casting.  Those facial lines were surely part if what won the guy this part.  This wasn't racism so much as direct character assassination.  It would be like casting a stocky middle-aged bald white man with a distinctive port-wine birthmark on his forehead as Pilate; the actor would not have to look that much specifically like Mikhail Gorbachev for viewers to get that it was a visual reference to Gorbachev.

but the Pres. has a very pronounced chin strap muscle. It's obvious when he's thinking or mad at something.
