  •  It's that day after Monday (18+ / 0-)

and here are some cheers to pooties, puppies, babies, birdies and everyone here.

I voted Powell.  I was fervently hoping that he was the one tempered voice in a pack of howling sh!^bags criminals.  Boy, was I wrong.  sigh  But that's what happens when you look for the promise and get smacked in the face and have no real recourse.

Not snowing here, yet.  Maybe will, maybe won't.  It's cold enough.

Have a good one y'all y'all.  Off to do some overwhelming handicrafts that I hope to finish by that winter holiday.  As usual, I overplanned.  Keep warm.  Hug someone close.

Go sing in the rain. March is National Umbrella Month.

    •  I voted for Powell for similar reasons. (4+ / 0-)

He's the one with experience in lying (Vietnam) and what it causes. He was the one with the most credibility (for whatever reason) and hence would have been listened to by the media, at least for a moment. He could have derailed the train and didn't. And to this day still has not come clean.

BTW, where is the quote from the most arrogant of the crowd, Condi? The one who was asleep at the wheel on 9/11, who knew so much? The mushroom shaped cloud? Yet she's practically revered.

I think that Republicanism is revealing itself as a personality disorder, not so much an ideology." -- Naomi Klein
