  •  I wonder if he has a really funny (19+ / 0-)

story about how, in high school, he "accidentally" joined the local chapter of the Klan. Whoopsie! "I was just a frustrated high school kid, and I started watching this low-budget cable access show "Heil Harry, with your host Mr. Harry 'White Power' White" and heh, I went to meet him... and... wham! I woke up at a rally in my own hood and robe a week later! I don't even remember what happened! Geez Louise, was I the rakish lad? Well, I decided to stick around, to, um, 'blow the lid off of this whole Klan thing', or be a high-ranking member, whatever, and, wow, three years later I was second Grand Chimera-Dragon-Pony from the top GCDP in charge of the area! But I was only curious. Man, whacky teenage times, man. I wasn't serious about it though, besides the twenty-seven tattoos, writing a book on how to organize white power rallies, sheesh, it's not like I was in deep, I only ran the message boards for two of my three years, and I only was in charge of actual cross burnings that one summer. Those photos you see of me, in the robes, getting arrested for beating up those college students, giving the Nazi salute? Well, they are photoshopped. True story."

I love when Movement Conservatives, Tea Party hacks, local Limbaughs, all freak out when one of these assholes gets exposed being all around them, because as far as I can see the biggest sin in Movement Conservatism is not actually being corrupt, evil, or filled with an ocean of hate... it's getting caught. I'm betting more than a few of his biggest Tea Party buddies knew full well who he was and what his background was and they were fine with it, until he got exposed.

I am from the Elizabeth Warren and Darcy Burner wing of the Democratic Party
