    As of Aug 2013, management of the GI Bill reverts to the individual services.  Rumor is that the ability to transfer benefits in exchange for obligating additional years of service is also going to go away.

    Woe betide all the voiceless who don't have lobbyists and special interest groups speaking out on their behalf.  They might restore military TA or a few other benefits here and there but what about the very young and very old, the poor, the disabled?  We need to fight for all of us.

    There are so many of us in numbers - 99 for every 1 of them, right?  We need to leverage our numbers together to outweigh their noise, their money, their power.
