    of his time, and still is. It may also surprise some to hear a few of Bach's 'Invention' pieces actually approached Schoenberg's invention of dodecaphony, twelve-tone serialism, and I think 11 of the 12 tones were present in those compositions. (I'm not talking about mere chromatic scale stuff, either). If anyone in the audience can recall the names of these rare and inspirational and obviously strange-sounding compositions, do let me know. I say 'strange-sounding' because Bach's era and the music he wrote compared to Schoenberg's influence is like Earth to Jupiter, or some such.

    Treat the world (yourself, and others) as part of a living organism. Everyone and everything will benefit.
