  •  So you don't like diet pepsi. (14+ / 0-)

Neither do I, but a little empathy?  Mortifyd has reached his (or her; I'm sorry Mortifyd, can't tell by your screen name) limit, is obviously feeling horrid about his situation, and has written a rant.
You say you're not healthy, unemployed, need a doctor's visit, and need new glasses.  Don't you ever just get fed up with your situation, have people offer you unwanted advice and kibitzing  and want to scream or write a rant?  That's all Mortifyd did.
Having been in losing situations that felt like they'd never end, or at least never end well, I have certainly felt like ranting (and have done so).  Why on earth do you care that Mortifyd has a tiny, not even particularly expensive habit that he wants to indulge every now and again without being shamed over it every single time it's indulged?
I'm very sorry for your situation, and hope it ends soon, that you get new glasses, get your knee looked at, get your skin checked, get a job you love, and get insurance.  I'm also very sorry for Mortifyd's situation, and hope he gets well and gets a fantastic job as a chef, and gets to purchase whatever food he likes, including a couple of liters of ice cold Pepsi to drink at his pleasure and leisure in whatever weather he considers appropriate and fun for him -- I don't care if he drinks it in the snow in his underwear.  If it makes him feel human and worthwhile, more power to him.
Why do you care if it's diet pepsi or ramen noodles?  Neither has much nutritional value.  One gives empty calories, the other gives caffeine in a refreshing (to Mortifyd) form.
