    two people in Guangzhou making a combined total of $2 an hour would replace 1 American worker making $30 an hour, and the balance of savings would be held on to by the owner class like Gollum clutching The Ring.

    Business doesn't distinguish between making money and taking money.

      yep, that was it exactly.   I just don't remember them being able to squeeze all those words into the typical propaganda sound bites they use.

      Don't forget about the classic 'lifting all boats' political sound bite justifying atrocious economic policies whereby the long version was 'lift all yachts over 90 feet long purchased in the last 10 years'.
