  •  The age is not the issue (0+ / 0-)

the guy made a mistake and freaked out.  It's not newsworthy, he's not the gender police, you can derive nothing about this mans life from the very limited information you got from the open letter.

A reliable account with regards to what happened but tone is nothing but interpretation and without being present I always make it a point to reserve judgement on those who aren't there to defend themselves.

Poor form and un-adult like are fair assessments.  Accusing this man of anything else is a stretch.

Who ya gonna shoot wit dat homie, you'd rather blast an original instead of a phony, true macaroni, you don't even know me, and why does your gun say n****z only?

parenting for raising her son not to behave like the screamer.

Age could be an issue in the event an older teenager, say, decides he doesn't care to hear the man's yelping and decks his sorry butt on the cold restroom floor.

I draw the consideration that if the child is younger and smaller, the screaming goes unfettered.  A teen, older and taller, and stronger, might affect an entirely different turn in the narrative.

We're given Ms. Newman's letter.  The accused screamer is welcome to sign up on DKos and defend his position, which I gather would begin something like, "The kid looked like a girl so I screamed at him cuz he was in the men's restroom.  Then I went outside and screamed at his mother, too.  I was naked in there!"

I don't think the screaming guy wins this debate.

        but is he anti-gay?
        is he anti-transgender?

You can't tell from the interaction.

        Is he violent?
Maybe the teenager would have said "Dude I'm a guy"

I don't get why the guy overreacting is creating such an equal and ridiculous overreaction.

Why would someone have to punch him?

My final point being that this incident is indeed nothing to make in to anything larger.

Maybe the man would say "I wasn't screaming at all"  Strangers word against another strangers word, I guess you believe the stranger that you think holds similar political beliefs then right?  laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame
