in both houses of Congress? When Obama has the same, we'll have the ability to gauge his intentions. FDR tried to pack the Court to get his agenda to pass constitutional muster. Need I mention today's SCOTUS? Our biggest problem has been the accelerating cost of health care. Obamacare is the first step toward reining it in. And we still have the auto industry along with all its related businesses. And Obama got both of those passed with some serious Blue Dog obstruction. As a retired person who looks forward to the annual COLA, I'm not happy about chained CPI, but I don't see it as a reason to discount all the good things Obama has done, or attempted to do. He could have done nothing in a second term if he never got one. Now that he no longer has to worry about re-election, and he's starting to show some strength. Do you think Boehner would have ignored the Hastert rule if Obama hadn't backed him into a corner? I don't.

things I said, instead of rattling off this weeks talking points.

income gains to the top 1% from 2009 to 2011 were 121% of all income increases. How did that happen? Incomes to the bottom 99% fell by 0.4%
