  •  I'm Embarrassed (4+ / 0-)

I was going to add the final group of books to the list and never did.

Thanks for the reminder. I'll make time to scour the boxes in the garage and our bookshelves and get that done. I remember having the idea of re-listing them chronologically (time consuming) or alphabetically or by author or not bothering. Time-wise I like the last choice, but I do want it to be useful to those who are interested.

I'll also do my best to get at least marginally involved in the political book club. As a small business owner (2), habitual reader, and family guy it seems that time is always that rarest of commodities. When I stopped watching TV I was able to reclaim a lot of time and a lot of my life, but even that wasn't enough.

Life is full of good stuff to do and cramming in more simply makes it more rewarding and more enjoyable.

    •  Well, you did provide a few years of reading (3+ / 0-)

suggestions so, while I respect your perfectionism, I think the embarrassment is too much.

I got a degree in Poli. Sci., but read a lot less of it now. Perhaps I sate myself with politics off the internet. But that's a different thing, really, since books can get so much deeper and larger in their view of a subject.

I look forward to seeing you, when your Mondays permit, in the Political Book Club. Thanks again for your reading-list diary, which will remain on my hotlist.
