This diary is preaching to the choir.

of joannaleon, but I just get so pissed at what is going on in this country. I think it's time to hit D.C. with a sledgehammer and stop the the pussyfooting around.

We, the voters, have to be scarier and more threatening than the lure of the big money. NOTHING ELSE WILL CHANGE THEIR MINDS ON THESE ISSUES.

They have NO moral compass, compassion or personal integrity. So hitting them at that level results in a near constant loss for what we need and want as a country.

It's so clear to me, I just don't see why more people don't say ENOUGH!  Instead, we continue to vote for people like Obama, and Feinstein because they are better than Romney and Rand. In the meantime, we keep being pulled to the right and we keep being ignored, fucked-over and ultimately harmed financially, emotionally and physically.  I voted for Obama and Dems in 2012 despite a near certainty that what is happening would indeed occur. Not again. I've learned my lesson.

      it is meant to inform.

If you don't get that, I can't help you.

Both of you are free to create your own action diaries.  This one is part of a blogathon to raise awareness and put a focus on Social Security.   The person who organized this blogathon started a petition.  I am helping to gather signatures for it.

So go for it. What is stopping you?

The more people are informed as to what's happening, the more opportunity they have to do something about it.

Sorry, don't mean to trash the diaries. I am just at my wits end with our political/economical situation!

I'll leave the writing to you and others who are considerably more brilliant at making your points and keeping others engaged!
