    new "Durbin, or Gang of Six/Eight Commission" is an indication of things to come, I'm worried that it won't even matter what the next Democratic Presidential candidate(s) thinks about Social Security reform.  ;-)

    As the Executive Summary that I posted in jl's diary states, a mechanism to set up an 'automatic decennial review' of Social Security may be in the works, if the new Commission gets its way.  

    Sounds sort of like an 'automatic pilot' for cutting the program for years and years to come.  Yikes!
