    I would think, hope, that every effort to put in every bit of context and history that can be managed would be important. Have not read the filings, but one would hope that there is at least one "Brandeis brief"in there, recalling an earlier feminist and human-rights matter, Muller v. Oregon, that was apparently important in re-framing the larger social realities to persuade the Justices to, er, "do justice."

    Not that A. Scoliomonas or Alito-ration or the rest are likely to do anything but apply their and their clerks' intellectuals to coming up with some snotty, puffy bit of "Screw the Republic" BS to reach their desired result. Pretty shameless bunch of Black Robes we have, thanks to the "progressive Democrats'" (sic)  unwillingness to get their hands sufficiently dirty for the last 40 years in the game that organized and evil reactionaries have as a result come to own... and to bring the whole current crop of Imperial Rulers, all three branches, under the same dark tent...
