  •  I'm still here, even though it's been a very (6+ / 0-)

discouraging day. I have not met or even come close to my income goal that I wrote about here and in the PWB diary. I guess I must be wearing out my welcome here or something, because other than Noddy's comment this morning and few rec's I didn't even get any expressions of support or good wishes.

So I guess tomorrow I will empty out my savings account to pay the bills. I'll probably take some from the money I had set aside to do the brakes of my car - hoping of course the brakes hold up until I can replenish that. And who knows when that will be.

The only thing that's on the horizon right now is that I'm been a emailing with an established client about taking on a new project. I offered to combine it with a project we've already discussed, at a reduced fee (but because it's a big project it would mean a generous amount of money for me). I'm hoping my offer will spur him to move on it quickly. But the last three prospective clients I pitched deals to have just fizzled out, which is one reason why I'm in this hole.

One thing that didn't help my mindset was that yesterday I tuned in on a "webinar" one of my FB contacts had sponsored. It was supposed to tell us how to get our handcrafts businesses into the realm of 6-figure sales. At least it talked about handcrafts which most business seminars don't. But the presenter had a sort of "boot-camp" style and it left me feeling even more discouraged. It really knocked a hole in my confidence in myself and my business. That's the last thing I need from someone who calls themselves a business coach!

So that's about it. Anybody wanna buy something? Check my sig line. I have some good deals...
