May the light of health shine brightly on you, covering you with its warmth and radiance.

Please sign it from us both. I can't send any $ right now; we have a vet appointment for Bitty tomorrow, who has a lump under her armpit and is nearly 12. I'll ask Charles what we can do after we pay the vet bill and find out what tests and treatments are needed. 12 is pretty old for a retriever.

Organ donors save lives! A donor's kidney gave me my life back on 02/18/11; he lives on in me. Please talk with your family about your wish to donate.

Why are war casualty counts "American troops" and "others" but never "human beings"?

Thanks, hon.  I hope Bitty is okay!  Hugs to you all.

You can order Pootie Pads here until the website is back up. Pooties love them!

We actually came home from the vet this time with the dog we took down there, instead of having to help him or her walk on. The lump is a fatty tumor and nothing to worry about unless it grows large enough to interfere with her functioning or turns hard. She has a bit of arthritis, hardly surprising at her age. She needs expensive dental work that we have to save up for. Overall, she is in good health and has a high quality of life.
