  •  His property isn't, but his lungs are. That crap (6+ / 0-)

    is mixed with benzene.

Even just cleaning up the asphalty goop on the California coast, we had to wear masks when we were anywhere near the oil.

income gains to the top 1% from 2009 to 2011 were 121% of all income increases. How did that happen? Incomes to the bottom 99% fell by 0.4%

Yet, you don't see any masks or gloves.  People will get is on their skin.  I spoke to someone down there.  He said that the EPA tested the air and said that it was fine.

By law, isn't the oil company supposed to have educated the local emergency people and population about what to do in the event of a spill.

Where the heck is Erin Brockovich when you need her ...

      •  They should have had hazmat suits and breathing (0+ / 0-)

apparatus in the Gulf Gusher too, but they didn't. Because they said it wasn't harmful. I think they were worried that if locals saw hazmat suits with respirators, that it would be a huge piece of evidence in the coming law suits for various ailments caused by exposure to oil and corexit and of course the resulting, aersolized mixes released into the air by wind and wave action.

The phrase of the day is, "Plausible Deniability."
