  •  I'm a church-going Christian (5+ / 0-)

    Who thinks you're wrong.

This is the day the Lord has made...

The Lord. Not Google, not any corporation. Why do you or any other Christian need affirmation of your faith by a corporate entity especially on Easter?

What should Google have posted? Bunnies, chicks and eggs? And how do these relate to the true meaning of Easter?

Holy Week and Easter constitute the holiest days of the year. Why in the world does any Christian need to look outward for acknowledgment of this? If anyone does, I'd suggest that they should have spent more time contemplating the events that lead up to Easter and its significance to Christians. (And its not bunnies and baskets full of jelly bellies).

Jesus could not care less what Google puts up on its website. In fact, if he ever did check in on Google,  I would argue that respecting a man who devoted his life to helping the poor and oppressed is exactly what Jesus would prefer.

So if you get hit by a bus tonight, would you be satisfied with how you spent today, your last day on earth? Live like tomorrow is never guaranteed, because it's not. -- Me.
