  •  Lunch periods and breaks are not required by (0+ / 0-)

    Federal law, but the law does provide that employees must be paid during break periods when provided.  

    Many states have laws which do require Lunch and/or Breaks.  Others don't.

    This disparity is one reason why we need strong unions and stronger Federal laws to create uniform work standards and worker protections.
