and love your diaries. Me, too, by the way: I mean, my purpose in writing diaries for the DKos community. There are so many political pundits way, way above my level of expertise and I read only to learn something new. Otherwise, I write only about what I have experience writing about, such as anything to do with the outdoors. And I will keep these diaries humming along just as long as there is interest from the community readers, like you, to read them. After tomorrow's conclusion I am going to post a special hiking-trail diary, on Monday, therefore spilling the beans about all the trails there are to navigate in the canyon. (So, save your money folks and get it for free. . .). Anyway, thanks for posting your comments, cardinal, and this picture you sent and shared with the rest of us. . .it's a keeper. Notice, too, it's all Paleozoic Era rocks on top, while below it's the Precambrian Grand Canyon Supergroup foundation. Hence, no Vishnu Mountain remnants. That all begins just around the corner from where you took this photo (Lipan Point? Navajo?).

Treat the world (yourself, and others) as part of a living organism. Everyone and everything will benefit.
