    as long as they feel like they have a good grip on what's going on in their state. It's cheaper and easier to buy local and state governments than it is to purchase power at the Federal level...that's why you see so much bundling for the rich to impact Washington. They think they've got the red states sewn up, and in large measure, they're right.

    While Wisconsin is fighting over unions, South Carolina is content in the way they've largely gotten rid of them. That fight is over here. Every time I hear somebody criticize the Federal government and talk about devolving power to the states, I think about the bullshit that passes for governance in Columbia, S.C. It's enough to make you a one-worlder.
