    ... on the part of the masses.  Encouraged, if not outright enforced, by the same educated and sophisticated manipulators you refer to, who are invested in making sure people don't want to rise above their station.

    My point is: sophistication and simplicity can both be misused.

      it just IS.  "Station" is a hierarchical concept that the masses have to agree to in order to be controlled.  No agreement, no control.  Mass hypnosis, mass unconsciousness, are what make control possible.  Socialization is a form of hypnosis.  Fear of death, hunger, shunning and pain is what keeps people in line.  BUT people HAVE to agree that this is the only paradigm that exists in order for it to work.  Simple, non-egotistical people never agree.

      Ghandi's technique of non-agreement worked, then people fell back into the old paradigm of the Parasite.
