    like piss testing for gun-violence-predisposition.

Most people follow the law until they don't and our brilliant leaders know we can make sure they aren't doing certain ugly, nasty, unhealthy things by regularly examining their [precious bodily fluids and firing them from their jobs or booting them off unemployment as necessary to keep America Safe and Strong!

Probably not going to happen as long as a weed is considered far more dangerous than guns....

I mean, your job will let you come to work with a gun but will fire you for testing positive for something you smoked 2 weeks ago on vacation?

This is America at its finest.

should have enumerated the citizens' right to grow hemp instead of own guns.

The problem with the right to own guns expressed in the Bill of Rights is that the constitution has been treated as such sacred text that it is rarely amended to keep up with the times.  Consequently the right to bear arms has never been constitutionally limited and in fact has expanded to include an individual's right to wield weapons that I doubt the founding fathers would ever have condoned had they been clairvoyant enough to envision them.
