  •  My sense (0+ / 0-)

is that there are few Markey signs or stickers anywhere. Certain places where Lynch is well known, where a large number of building trades union workers live, are fairly well plastered in Lynch signs. Southie, West Roxbury, Quincy, Weymouth.

I would like to see more Markey street presence. I know here in Newton people overwhelmingly support him, but only two of us that I've seen have bumper stickers and I've seen not a sign anywhere. I know they have a strategy of deploying the resources elsewhere, but the lack of signage makes some supporters anxious after the Coakley debacle. I also think some progressive folks have been shellshocked for about 30 years and need reassurance that not everyone's conservative. So I'd like to see more signs around here.

Republicans...think the American standard of living is a fine thing--so long as it doesn't spread to all the people. And they admire the Government of the United States so much that they would like to buy it. Harry S. Truman
