    They're a minority. Most of the people here just want to strike a different balance between public safety and gun rights. This thread is an example: it's about further outlawing gun laundering, to make existing laws more enforceable.

    I have, however, seen plenty of "Repeal the Second Amendment" posts, an entire "We're coming for your guns" diary, and quite a few people who see England and Japan as models for gun regulation (which is certainly not "eliminating all guns" but is pretty damned close).

    Freedom isn't free. Patriots pay taxes.

      repealing the 2nd amendment and taking all guns are not the same thing, a person could hold both positions, but people don't have to.

      Many of the folks who want to repeal the 2nd amendment simply want to make it easier to strike what they consider a fair "balance between public safety and gun rights."
