    I have seen MSDS for unknown mixtures where they state what chemicals are likely to be present and list the most extreme potential for each hazard.  

    For example, if only one of the potential chemicals was radioactive and wasn't necessarily present, the MSDS sheet would assume it was there in it's most highly concentrated volume.

    If there was an either/or situation, the MSDS would assume both in a worse case scenerio.
