you decided to go to a secular university. these students didnt. instead they have to take the mbta on a grueling 8-minute ride down comm ave to the nearest planned parenthood if they want birth control pills, or they can just walk to the pharmacy closest to campus, which is about 5 minutes away, and probably equidistant from the dorms with respect to the student health center --  a health center which, by the way, may very well actually distribute birth control pills. i havent looked into that.

do you think that Boston College is a seminary?

Seriously?  Do you think it is Regent or Liberty University for Catholics?

      •  no (0+ / 0-)

as an alumni, i wouldn't say it was a seminary.

so, if you want it to be a solely Catholic institution which only admits Catholics....

and doesn't take a dime of federal money, THEN BC can make issue about distribution of condoms on campus...and even further engage in the hypocrisy which is leading to the church declining rapidly in membership in the US....

and you sit there and tell me people that when a church owned school decides that it wants  to be run like the inquisition, people can vote with their feet...

the school can have as much good luck attracting money, faculty and decent students as the Church is having attracting men to the priesthood who will fill up the churches.

but you can sit there and say....hey...they have absolute right to be dicks in their own sandbox.
