bubbles both sides tend to put themselves in.

I was listening to Sean Hannity on the way home and the story according to him was that some Democrats may have broken the law by illegally recording a standard opposition research discussion that all politicians engage in.  No mention that the main problem, apparently, is that legislative aids were involved in campaign discussions and they must be kept separate.

Come over to the great orange satan and the story is about the legislative aids, on taxpayer dimes, attending a campaign related meeting.  And only a passing mention of possibly illegal "Watergate style tactics".

I guess my main point is that I've heard each sides version and don't really know what to think but what I am positive of is that neither side exposed their listeners/readers to the full scope of the story.

(I don't want this to degenerate into a false equivalency argument and so I'll just state that I have more faith that the DKOS community will explore more angles to this story than Hannity or other RW media will.  But I will caution that living in a self-chosen media bubble is not a problem that is caused by conservative political leanings.  It's a human problem that all can be susceptible to if we aren't careful.)

"reporting".  Their headline was "McConnell accuses liberal KY PAC of bugging campaign headquarters."

On another note, Drudge was being Drudge with a headline of "Will Weiner rise again?" with the face of the ex-congressman above it.  Very punny.

and the ONLY thing he does is partisan politics on the public dime. Fundraising, power building, and looking to f*ck over anyone who gets in his way. As far as he is concerned the welfare of this country is "a hostage worth taking" if it serves Mitch McConnell's need for more money and power. He is very shrewd in his public utterances, but hopefully this tape will expose what a nasty piece of shit he is and how he spends our tax money to fund his life of obsessively f*cking over people he wants to destroy.
