Has become more riveting as the seasons passed. I can hardly wait for the final episodes. Unbelievably strong characters even on supporting roles and Cranston has been brilliant in his portrayal of a mousy chemistry teacher transforming into cold killer.

The gorgeous New Mexico scenery doesn't hurt either!

It knocks the wind out of you every season end. You know the ending is going to be epic.

Did you hear someone broke into Bryan Cranston's car and stole the final script? Good thing I don't peruse the Internet, but that sucks if someone's spoils it. It won't be for me because I will ignore it.

To go from Malcolm in the Middle to such a nuanced character in such a realistic story is an amazing feat. Aaron Paul is also amazing; they just plucked him from an usher job in a movie theater. Amazing talent.

    •  Breaking Bad... (0+ / 0-)

I really don't like American TV (I prefer British TV), but I love Breaking Bad, even though I didn't dig the 3rd season (which I just watched on DVD).  It was a chore to get through.  Most of it felt padded with boring domestic stuff.  The Fly episode was completely useless (though an interesting idea).  The first 2 seasons were magnificent.

I've heard the fourth season (and the current one) are much better.  Most have said season 3 is the worst.  I would agree.

      •  The Fly episode IIRC from the discussion (1+ / 0-)

feature on the Blu-ray was at least in part due to the production company running over budget on location shots. The Fly episode, being solely on one set was cheap and got them back on track financially.
