    here from July 2012:

The nominations for the 64th annual prime-time Emmy awards were announced Thursday morning, and the superlative series starring Timothy Olyphant as U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens showed up in just two categories -- guest actor in a drama (Jeremy Davies) and art direction. That's it.

Olyphant wasn't nominated for lead actor in a drama. Walton Goggins wasn't nominated for supporting actor. Neal McDonough, off-the-chart scary-good as Detroit mobster Robert Quarles, wasn't nominated for guest actor in a drama series.

Frustrating, to be sure, but none of those misses drives the needle into the red-shaded range indicating outrage. The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences accomplished that when "Justified" was not among six shows nominated for best drama.
