    As a kid growing up in Brooklyn, I seem to remember Jackie would retaliate for brush back pitches by bunting down the first base line, daring the pitcher to field it causing a collision.   Also, if the umpire called balls and strikes suspiciously, Campanella (the catcher later on) would call for a high fast ball, and not catch it--thus letting the ball hit the umpire square on.
