    I never really connected novels with genealogy. Duh!

    The stars must be aligned today because I was able to get to the library after perusing here. Chaneyville is not in our system, but I did get a copy of The Wolves of Andover.

    As I rambled thru the 1st few pages, the connection was obvious. I feel certain I will gain some understanding of my earliest Massachusetts family who might not be quite  as boring as I thought.

    So thanks to you and all here for opening my eyes. Have a great weekend everyone.

      and I'm looking forward to reading everyone else's suggestions! It was 70 degrees today, and will be nice tomorrow ... I hope it takes care of the snow on the shady side of the street because I can't wait to be able to take a few books to a nice park, sit under a tree,  and read and read and read

        Here it's fog that puts a literal damper on things. Summer, which usually arrives in October, completely passed us by this year.

        So for me it's curling up with the cat to read.
