  •  Franken isn't Klobuchar (0+ / 0-)

Most of the people that love Franken aren't in Minnesota. I don't think he is in electoral danger, but he is hardly a figure that will motivate average Minnesotans to get to the polls.

    •  I think Franken (0+ / 0-)

could and will inspire young progressives to get to the polls in the Twin Cities area.

The issue is the out-state House DFLers. The majority is built on them.

We'll just have to see, I guess.

...in Minnesota right now.  That's my fear.  An enraged opposition bringing along a ton of annoyed moderates in the process....and a fractured, demoralized base that's unmotivated to go to the polls, thereby wiping out a lot of innocent bystanders on the ballot who also have a (D) next to their name.

Frankly, if the budgets proposed by the DFL Governor, Senate, and House come to pass minus the progressive stuff, I would have an incredibly hard time voting for any of them.

    •  I know he isn't (0+ / 0-)

but he's still pretty high and dry.
