I hate air conditioning and being cold.

When it gets so hot I can't remember my name, I'm fairly content.

are OK with the cold.  It does get expensive heating our homes but we save on AC as we only need it about 2 to 3 months per yer, if that.  She wants to retire back in PA although we all hate the snow, she does not mind the cold and neither do I.

and I still like cold weather camping but 9 months of winter is needlessly depressing for me.

I married a woman from south Vietnam and even she thinks it is hot here.

What I have learned about me is if I don't get used to A/C I'm fine. A/C makes the body 'weak' and fussy and the acclimation to it is difficult if you don't make a habit of it.

Camping a lot taught me this.

        But then, again, I'm weird.
