  •  I have looked over and over for a definition of (5+ / 0-)

    coarse fishing (of course, I spelled it course) and couldn't find anything.  In Pride and Prejudice, Mr. Darcy offers Lizzie's uncle the opportunity to fish for trout or "there are carp, tench, and pike in the lake if your bent turns to coarse fishing." Other verbiage suggests that trout fishing would be done in a stream and coarse fishing in the lake.
