    "hacked" simply by someone going to www.riaa.org/admin/ .  No password or anything was needed, just knowing to type "www.riaa.org/admin" into any web browser which was discovered by accessing the robots.txt file which tells search engines what parts of the site not to access.

      on the part of their webmasters securing the site making it relatively easy to update their pages.

      I only mentioned other options because sometimes it really is enabled by something rather dumb or a simple mistake.
