I don't get it, you would prefer that people don't have disagreements on policy and present varying angles of a discussion? this isn't the New-york Times, we're not writing diaries to present an A+ journalistic balance presentation of some issue.  Instead, Daily Kos is a good place to connect personally with people and debate opinions. I sourced my writing in multiple links from legitimate media organizations (Unless you think The Hill and Huffington Post are skewed?)  and think-tanks / third party policy advocacy groups like Center for Responsive Politics and Sunlight Foundation.

i didn't "cherry pick facts", this is how it works. you write a diary, presenting the angle you want to present, and people challenge it, and we debate the differences -- amazing concept, isn't it?

get over it. Boston was a tragedy but don't try and exploit it to ram some politically correct agenda down our throats.

You left some important stuff out of your diary. Besides the fact it was determined that the provision, as applied to a large number of federal employees could be an actual danger to them, the provisions were not lifted for the electeds and other high federal officials.

Under the new law, the beefed-up reporting requirements will still apply to the president, vice president, members of Congress and candidates for Congress. Some presidentially nominated and Senate-confirmed government employees would also still adhere to the new disclosure requirement.
Either you knee-jerked without reading all the way through, or you were being deliberately misleading.

I'm sick and tired of answering the same wrong comments over and over again.

either read through the whole diary and the sources, or just stop misrepresenting what i've wrote based on a skim-through, okay?

i didn't "leave important stuff out" and i didn't say that president, congress, candidates would not be subject to disclosures.

you have just engaged in a knee-jerk reaction and a deliberate misrepresentation of the diary i've written.

that blinds me to your claim of "quality content".

    •  "Presenting the angle?" (7+ / 0-)

You mean, "spin" and "cherry-picking." Come on.

Yes, you managed to gin up outrage from the usual suspects who don't need much prompting to bash the President. But your diary is misleading. In fact, borderline dishonest.

But enjoy your time on the rec list.

i mean presenting an angle that is critical of the administration.

but yea, ignore the facts, disregard anything critical of Obama as "spin"...much easier to live like that...people say it's quite blissful.
