The CT crowd has already started on the false flag bullshit. If (as I think will probably happen), we find that the culprits are related to the patriot movement or something similar, the right is going to go apeshit. I'm more worried about people that will be inspired by this than anything else.

before tweeting out that Obama had set this up as a false flag operation to install martial law.

      •  Did you see the press conference last night? (4+ / 0-)

What genius decided to credential infowars? As soon as the FBI guy and the Police commissioner stopped speaking he starts screaming "WAS THIS A FALSE FLAG OPERATION?" over and over again.

This is the mind set that sets the context for crimes against your fellow human beings.

yesterday was turn on the TV. I use Daily Kos, Twitter and satellite radio for my go to news outlets.
I realize that the TV people have to fill a lot of time, so a lot of stupid things are said (over and over and over again), but CNN, MSNBC, Fox etc are just unwatchable to me these days.

the bombing was first reported. It was a little surreal to see them try to find every reason possible to avoid saying it was a bombing, when it was pretty clear from the beginning that it wasn't the type of explosion that would be caused by an electrical malfunction or a gas leak.

So I guess they do have some connection

                •  Well, hadn't thought about it like that. (0+ / 0-)

What was really offensive, to me anyway, was the anchor sat there with a huge ear-to-ear grin on his fact the entire time.

But one of the cable stations had a runner that had just finished before the bombs went off call in to talk about what he had experienced. And the guy was clearly not used to talking to reporters on national TV and sort of had a nervous chuckle going on a few times when he didn't know how to say things eloquently, and it was a little unnerving to listen to. The guy didn't mean it in a disrespectful way, I'm sure or to belittle what had happened, but it was just odd to listen to.
