    The fundamental error I see in the illustration is that it isn't a "controlled" spreadsheet, meaning that it doesn't contain control features that support its basic reliability.  A simple example:  A table of figures is added across in rows as well as down in columns.  If the total of the "row" totals isn't the same as the total of the "column" totals then the worksheet is flawed.  In the illustration above, whoever built the worksheet failed to implement this most basic control mechanism.  Either that or we're looking at a deliberate effort to deceive....
