    I'm not an academic so I don't know how this works. But being so egregiously wrong due to bad spreadsheet formulas and refusing to let anyone see your data strikes me as indication of blatant and willful professional misconduct that must lead to their being professionally humiliated and summarily fired.

    I suspect, though, that this won't happen, under the same principle of "Too Important To Fail" that's led to no higher-ups in finance and warmaking being prosecuted for actual crimes. The establishment protects its own. We no longer have a true meritocracy that polices itself. We have a plutocracy that covers itself. Watch their wrists gets slapped, them told to never do it again, and the whole things covered up in "look forward" mode.

    Also, watch Dems totally botch an opportunity to make political hay, partly because they suck at sensationalist politics, and partly because they're part of the con. Hopefully Warren and Sanders won't let this pass.
