has been working to get the hundreds of teachers rehired who were cut last session by the leg taking money from the rainy day fund but have been told no, can't afford it. Class sizes have ballooned and we all know what that will do to achievement.

There are billions in rainy day fund that could be used to restore jobs.

There also have been concerted attacks on my teacher pension fund, and we have had no COLA for a decade or more.

We simply have to keep the up the work to turn Texas Blue.
