    what constitutes fascism.

Many of the limited government types will agree that our bloated federal government is fascist because they perceive that it is unreasonably interfering with their lives.

Many liberal types, who should be on the front lines raising the alarm, will tell you that until the jackboots and brown shirts come out, you can't call it fascism.

For me, I need look no further than Citizens United, the backroom BigPharma Deal, the lack of a public option, the bailout of the TBTF, the continued efforts to feed the MIC, the PIC, and the religious right, the failure to pass any meaningful gun control legislation despite public demand, and/or any 10 minute segment of cable news, to conclude that our government is wholly captive to corporate interests.  Label that however you want, a rose is still a rose.

What I find terrifying is the extent to which they have succeeded in dismantling the Constitution and the Rule of Law.  When we do finally wake up, we will find that we have no peaceful recourse left to us.
