    I used to work a pawnshop that sold guns. They were audited. The agents did everything with yellow pads and pens. I thought it was really stupid. I didn't realize until much later that they aren't allowed to use computers.

    I am guessing that insurance companies are prevented in some way from charging more for gun owners. Possibly directly, or possibly through some convoluted rule about not being allowed to ask about gun ownership.
