It's been 2 weeks and I had houseguests last weekend so lots of extra towels and such. When it's just me it's not so bad but there was a lot. Still, a good doggie training opportunity, to get him used to being around the house without me in the room or nearby (washer/dryer in basement). All okay, though he parks himself outside the basement door until I come back up, LOL.

really do add to the load.  I'm looking forward to the weather calming down to normal above freezing so I can hang stuff on the line.  I love that loofah feel of the towels.

Doggies are so adorable, needy and exhausting re: training.  Cats can be adorable, needy and waiting to send you to the hospital.

My landlord/lawyer in trouble guy (72) is looking to get another dog to replace his deceased and beloved border collie mix.  There is a shelter that has 2 (brother and sister) border collies.  He's written them for a visit -- I bet he takes both puppies.  He already has two cats and feeds 50 out the back door of the office.

        Definitely sounds like an animal-lover.

Doggies do take a bit of focus and repetition for the training, but they are often so eager to please and are clearly trying so hard to get it right. They basically just wanna hang out with you, and are pretty good at doing so on your terms, once you set them. A work in progress, like so many other things in life!
