    ...on making it painful to execute. The GOP has already gone back on their 'gentlemen's' agreement so this is the perfect time to insist that Reid suck it up and lose a bit of power as the Majority Leader for the good of the nation. This is the time to remind Feinstein and Boxer why gun legislation failed; that we've reached a point where Republicans can filibuster even without a formal filibuster. Dems need to stop focusing on losing and rather doing all the things that will give them the popular support to hold on to the Senate in this time of GOP disarray, public hypocracy and indefensible ideological policy failures.

    Put all the burden on at least 40 of the filibustering membership to formally be present to sustain a filibuster and make it easy for that advantage to slip away. Make them defend to the public every time they create additional gridlock and require them to work hard for each one. Those lazy, divided wingnuts will fail as surely as they can't put in a twenty hour work week.
