    I don't work in the environmental industry. Are the 14 people in Texas any less dead than the four people in Boston because the owners of fertilizer plant were merely callously neglectful? There are probably many more people in the US in danger of death or injury by some industrial accident than by some sort of terror attack, yet we focus on terror when we have less control over that than we could have over industrial disasters. It seems that we are distracting ourselves from the dangers we could control, by worrying over what we have less control over. And we are willing to give up more and more of our privacy and civil rights in the process. Because we want freedom?
