    patience involved in getting great wildlife shots.  So many times when people comment on wildlife photos, they say "wow, you must have a great lens" - which would be like saying that Rembrandt used great brushes.  I'm a middling photographer, but I know that the main reason for my mediocrity is that I don't always have the patience to wait for the right shot, or to frame it just right, or to stalk around to get the light at my back.  Sure, a nice lens would help, but it's work to do this well, and tgypsy's efforts show.
