Although I can be proven wrong. I want someone that has been elected to something before, and that is SHS

I am a Tom Rukavina Democrat

      ...in the right state.

Any Bush is great in Texas, and going forward perhaps in Florida.

Any Kennedy is great in Massachusetts, and to a lesser extent in other Northeastern states.

But a legacy Democrat in South Dakota ain't all that.  Same goes for Democrats in any red state.  I realize we have an occasional holdover legacy who is still personally strong, like Jim Matheson, but he's the last of his clan to be strong......I wouldn't count on a child of Jim Matheson to win anything outside Salt Lake City proper.

Highly dependent on the state AND the candidate. SHS is a legacy candidate herself, although she has some cred actually having her own track record.

One of the hundred Landrieu clan would all do well here in LA.

Except the Landrieus in Louisiana. Those are great legacy candidates.
